12 month upgrade ? Hard to do when first year new hires at best are flying 30-50 hours on average, well I guess it can be done if you show up to silver with 600-700 hrs already or bid iAd and hold a line fast, even then with all the maintanence and wx cancelations its almost impossible to upgrade in 12 months, but let's be honest, 2.5 year upgrade is still a lot faster then most regionals, plus you get to fly with a great pilot group in an awesome airplane

The reason we closed and went to down to 3 bases was to help the pilot group be able to trade trips and to be able to fill any gaps that would happen if someone was to call out easier. As for what I think the upgrade time looks like, I have been working for the company in FLL for 7 months now and I have a little more then 300 hours so far. but I have a line now and look to maxing out each month or close to it. I am hoping up upgrade in maybe 7 to 9 more months which would make it 1 1/2 years. This is me coming in with no airline exp. before hand.
