Default Silver Airways

Here's the thing... Silver hires a pilot. Said pilot will receive a reserve line out of training. Reserve line will be 18 days straight. Said pilot leaves Silver for greener pastures.

Can this reserve thing be changed before its voted on ? The rest of the changes aren't bad but the 18 in a row negates everything. Too bad I'm going to miss the call tomorrow. Hard for me to believe anyone but top 50 or so guys going for this.

No more 3 hour credit for sitting available on reserve?

No more >70.5@150% for reserves?

Those would have to go as well.

The 2:00 am for LDO needs to go as well, you're no longer able to abuse midnight since we are no longer outstation based. There's no real reason to remove it. The problem has been solved.

You guys know how this works, don't ya?!? You ALWAYS vote the first TA down!! Management all but expects it. They will sweeten the pot a little for the round two. If you vote in the first one they throw at you, management will know that you are a bunch of pansies!!

Now that I've had a chance to sleep on it, I'm a solid NO. I've been hoping other airlines vote NO on their deals lately, WE have mgmt. by the balls. They are chasing us away with these shenanigans, and if they have any brains at all, they'll come back and sweeten the deal. Look at Eagle, hasn't even made it out to the pilots for a vote yet and mgmt. is already coming back with better offers.

Vote YES and we continue to chase away good pilots and eventually shut down. Vote NO and we have the chance to see something worth voting YES on. Either way, keep your resumes current, kids.

Conference call to start in 10 minutes...this should be entertaining!

I agree 100% please look beyond the little pay raise. We need to send a clear message. GLA is going bye bye soon, I believe we're next and if it comes to that so be it, enough is enough.

RUN, do not walk to another company. Sounds like the union wants you to drink the kool aid with this LOA. They want you to think 18-20 days straight on RSV is a better way to spend time with your family. Unreal. It's a pilots market and everyone is hiring

Holy ****! This conference call is a joke! Now I'm convinced the union is in bed with management! Not all union reps but... At least it's up for vote but they're really force feeding it.
