We're never going to lose our United benefits, United can't afford to lose us, we provide too much feed. We should be getting JB benefits soon too so the future looks bright fellas. Lets keep up the good work! Today it's a Disney Vacation, tomorrow it's new airplanes, maybe even jets. Just imagine providing feed for JB. Possibilities are endless! Let's make SILVER really shine in 2014! Go Silver!

Perhaps this was sarcasm that I missed, but I think we have great potential to lose the United benefits. The only reason we are keeping them now is because of Dulles and Cleveland EAS routes. I also wonder if we did the cutover in Florida b/c we really wanted to spend the money and go independet, or because United didnt want to be associated with us anymore down there.

United would have to have someone to replace us if they were sick of us. I'm thinking we wanted to go it alone.

Silver going independent had nothing to do with United. They did it for future codeshares. We would have never gotten an agreement with JetBlue if we were in bed with United. IOSA also helped with that.

But yes, we could very well lose our benefits: No pilots=no flights=no airline=no benefits.

...and I'm pretty sure dmncnpilot was being 100% sarcastic.

Epic moment of the day: LJ (the most senior pilot at the Company) just got junior-manned.

You might negotiate that into your next contract, the most senior FO and Captain on the list cannot be junior manned as it defeats the spirit of the purpose. Possibly also serve to protect Captains from being forced to fly as FO's.
