If true that the company employs someone full time just to watch social media and protect their image then I'm shocked and upset. I went near 2 weeks in the dead of summer with zero water for the passengers! Half the flights had no ice and of course no air carts so it would be uncomfortably warm. They need to hire someone to better manage catering supplies in that market rather than waste it on social media managers. I will say this we have a saint of a FA who went out and on her own dime bought cases of water for the plane. She was reimbursed, but regardless of that she couldn't stand to keep telling folks we're all out days in a row. Silver may have some issues but you guys have some great coworkers!

A great place to have specific discussions about topics that's safe from prying eyes is our Union Forum. It's my understanding that the Company employs someone whose sole purpose is to monitor the Company's public image. That means they read Airline Pilot Central Forums, facebook, twitter, etc. and report "troublemakers" to Management. Watch what you say here and elsewhere that can be seen by the public. If you really want to speak your mind, come to the Teamsters Local 1224 Forum:
It's easy to get started. Just go to APA Teamsters Local 1224 and click "Register for Access" on the right hand side. Fill out the registration form and hit "Submit Form."
