Anyone else ****ed about how much the Altoona cab service sucks?

I don't think it's been on time FROM the hotel since I've worked here...Travel Alliance or not.

I'm going on 90 minutes with no cab right now...

I wated 2:15 once because apparently the driver fell asleep. Nothing like hanging out in the lobby of the Holiday Inn because scheduling says "they will be there shortly". God I don't miss going up there in the dead of winter. At least you get great paper mill smells.

I don't think there's many silver pilots left, so this place got quiet. Check the XJT and RP forums now. Prolly all the senior dudes to be left in the end.

You guys still a UA feed? Planning a trip to GGT(Bahamas/Exuma) and looking to use my UA miles, but it says "no available flights" on the UA website? The only non-stop flight is sold as UA though? Kayak has you as the only non-stop service. Thanks for any info..

as a side note. $744/pp round trip? you guys get business class in those Saabs?

It's no longer united express, it's all flying under its own reservation system and name as a code share for UA. Those Bahamas tickets are pricey, I think GHB one way is like $400. You can book on Expedia or gosilver.com

Wow, for that price I would hit up Tropic Ocean Airways. Take a 206 or 208 on floats. Plus they are cooler!

Seaplane Key West, Little Palm Island, Bimini Bahamas. /Shameless plug
