Did you ever think that a lot of those people could have been RAH guys voting who were in out stations as well? Maybe even a few Horizon or Lakes guys... There is very few ppl who like or agree with an outstation base. I know everyone who's based at our MS bases and none enjoy it there that's roughly 16-20 people. I'm sure the same can be said for up north as well.

Am I in favor of hub basing? Yes because I commute and it would make life much easier. That being said, being based in both the ATL and IAD networks has allowed me to explore parts of the country I would otherwise never go to. Yes, Greenville is a dump but its got killer blues bars and BBQ. The Appalachian region is very quaint and the scenery is great. Outstation basing isn't all terrible- you just have to make the best of it
