An excellent point and something everyone should strive for. Too bad they didn't survive the DCI shuffle.

Agreed and they would if all pilots would stand together. Sadly this will never happen. Hell Delta, NW, American, TSA, UsAir, AWA are all still fighting or hating each other...lmao. Pilots are their own worst enemies.

You almost need a small union just to tell your union what it is you want. Someone mentioned your union and company are meeting in August to discuss pilot retention. Seems like your union is entering that conversation in a vacuum if they haven't polled what it is the pilots want or think would be a good idea. So the union will go to that meeting not armed with any knowledge for a proper conversation and another month will be lost before they meet again.

I believe they know exactly what they want. What they're waiting for is for the company to figure out what it is that they want from us. Once that's figured out, they'll play ball...

Let's not talk about what happened today on a public forum. That being said I'm sure after seeing the Do have an open and frank discussion in occ today that someone is on monster.com. No word on the staffing bid even though it takes a click of a button to do so that's not good. We shall see the next time the union and the company have a meeting if anything comes from it.
