If they put GPSs in the Saabs, then maybe the Company Race Program will come start. Cha Ching

The last FMS update is on Dec. 2 and is good for 28 days. We will not be getting new FMS's or GPS's anytime soon. All the Saab's will be flown with good old fashion green needles. Enjoy boy and girls!

This will be quite familiar for any former 9L pilots now at Silver. At least the air conditioning will still work for the summer(fingers crossed). It was disappointing to receive Mesaba Saabs at Colgan and have the A/C deactivated a week later.

Understatement of the century.... especially those of us who were IAH based.... but it's ok.... we still had our portable fans from Wal-Mart....

The Colgan Saabs had conditioned air, but they weren't good at producing cold air in the summer. The Saab B+ models from Mesaba had an extra box full of magical ice gnomes that provided cool air in the summer. Colgan mx couldn't pay the gnomes what they were worth, the gnomes quit, and that was the end of cool air in the Saab, so I've been told...

I fly the B + in and out of Florida , double/single HP with supplemental going on, I still feel like a 2 dollar wh*re when I get out. Sticky and sweaty like a homeless man.....

Either way, somebody would always take my spot and do it for less money than I already do...

Love what you do or somebody will do it for you
