Write up a plane in Cleveland and it'll easily become a two day trip.

Carl - Billings isn't senior, but not very junior. you'd sit reserve for a month or two because there are a bunch of guys there that aren't moving.

Thanks for the heads up. Any chance you mind listing the seniority of the bases for both seats?

Can anyone tell me what the call out time for reserve is? I'm figuring the standard 1 hour. Are the PA trips typically 4 to 6 legs a day?

I've been looking through all 182 pages to see how they're handling transition training to the Saab, and where the lion's share of them are located. I haven't been so lucky as to find that info. At what point do they offer the transition to the Saab?

Nobody knows exactly what's going to happen right now but I'd wager my income at TSA that everyone on property as of right now will be on the SAAB by next year...unless they REALLY wanted to stay in Billings.

The SAAAAAAB will end up doing all flying in FL, the IAD flights, and the ATL flights.

More may or may not be coming...nobody (read: me) knows at this point.

Reserve call out is 1.5 hours. There's no airport ready reserve. PA trips are typically 4 and 5 leg days. Sundays for some bases are 7 legs.

I notice a lot of people tearing on the starting pay ($19/hr), BUT, the most JR. cap't on the BE1900 is 7 months ago (Nov. 2011) Then, from that point you make $33/hr. Thus! After only 6 or 7 months you're kick'n your buddies butts that didn't wash out at that regional jet carrier. LoL! Seems an okay deal. If only it weren't on a BE-1900's . But, as many have said, that wont last long. And, the Saab is a transport category aircraft. 30+ seats. You can parlay that for a good seat at a better op. from a life-career perspective.
