Hey Rotor, thanks...I used that to pass my ATP and it worked wonders.

Love2av8 is right, I wanted to know if there were specific chapters they focused on. I read the whole thread and took notes, but wanted to see if there were others who could fill me in.

There really are not any true ATP questions on the exam. A lot of private / instrument stuff that is relatable to the type of flying they do. I.E. airspace cloud clearance requirements, metars, TAF's and 20 ish or so Jepp IFR plate questions etc.

If you can PM prior to your interview hit me up and I will try and help with a little more info.

Awesome man, I noted some of the approaches used via this thread...so any other info on the matter that you can help with would be excellent. I.e which plates, symbols etc...

I can't pm though...I'm still under the required posts. Send me a message and we'll get in touch

Thanks

When I interviewed it was ILS 32 at Buffalo. That was over 6 months ago though. And I'm sure the plate on the test is extremely outdated so don't memorize any numbers.

Have an interview on the 26th. I ask these questions assuming I make it through the interview:

What bases are they hiring into?

When they called me for the interview they talked about Street Captain, even though I have no 121 time I have more than enough turbine PIC and 135 experience so what are they hiring Street Captains into and finally is TPA or FLL and pipe dream for FO or CA?

I have the same date..we should talk.

She couldn't give me details about bases but I was repeatedly reminding her I only wanted to interview for captain and that seems to be what we are up for. I haven't any 121 time either but the flight times we have seem to matter more.

Guys on here are saying they will bring the pilots from the north I think...they'll prob reply.

Seniority is scattered throughout the system. Your question will be best answered when, if ever, the new staffing bid comes out. Keep in mind, in the next 3 months there will probably be at least 50 new pilots on property so that changes things also. There are two 1900 classes within the next 2 months. They will probably go north allowing the more senior guys up there to go south and transition to the Saab, if thats what they want. Hope that helps.

Yes it does, somewhat. Not sure if I would go out of Florida or not. If only offered an FO position definitely not, if offered a Captain spot maybe

Don't blame you but theres about 50 pilots up north also waiting to come down. The NE ops aren't that bad.
