Hotel and travel arrangements were done almost a week before class, I do insist you check with them constantly and make sure they have set you up. Also they're not positive spacing you, they're buying a ticket for you to FLL, keep your bag charge receipts with you so you can get those refunded if you check bags.

I'll be seeing you in FLL next month, bro. Just celebrated my last day up north yesterday. Been in BFD nearly a year now, going over to the Saab in the class on the 4th. See you at the Springhill Suites.
To all you junior guys, enjoy Florida while you can, the staffing bid will probably throw things in a blender as far as where you are flying. There are lot of senior pilots who have just been waiting for TPA and ATL to pop up and become crew bases on the Saab. But the good news is, if you get displaced, you get moving expenses. The northeast is nice, as long as you don't mind snow and small towns. The people up here are tops, and it's like a family with the crews, ramp agents and managers. BFD is a great base, and the experience you accumulate up here will be invaluable to your career and your flying skills. Pay attention and always be ready to learn.

No contact on travel arrangements, but I will be driving as I live pretty close to FLL. So anyone needing a ride somewhere while we are there, I will do my best to help you out.
Someone earlier wrote they didn't get hotel confirmations until Saturday before the class beginning on Monday. So it may be pretty tight to the end it sounds like.
I thought based on previous posts we would get Drug Screen info to go take those before we show up, but haven't seen that stuff yet either.

I will also have my car with me during class. I'm driving down for class since they are putting us up in the hotel, and they will be giving me my moving dates after I finish Saab OE. Don't know for sure if it will be to FLL, TPA, IAD or ATL, since the staffing bid will probably be happening some time in July. The hotel they're putting us up at should be the Springhill Suites, right off I-95 one exit south of the airport and training center. Nice place, lived there for most of May and June last year on rehire training and TDY. See you all by the pool for "study" time.
I'll be happy to provide some transpo during class for those who need it.

Are IAD and ATL for sure going to be crew bases? What about Puerto Rico or will all of that come from FLL? And if they are how do you think all the Saab bases will fall senority wise?
