June 4 class is filling. 9 slots left for a total of 30. There will be 15 FO and 15 CPT in that class. ATL and Dulles are a ways out but coming. If you are in the July 4 class you get Saab in FLL. No class dates scheduled after that do to training / logistics back up but more classes will be running ASAP.

Think this will be Beech flying or is the Beech being fazed out for the Saab all over? I know it's going all Saab out of FL by the end of the year... But I can't see Montana or PA going Saab... Just not enough passengers to support the bigger aircraft... Thoughts?

All the 1900's are going away. No time table as of yet, will depend on how quickly they can phase in the Saab's. They are no longer hiring into the 1900, only the Saab. 18 Saab's on property by years end with plans for 50 within 36 months. Again depends on staffing abilities from what I was told.

When youget down and crunch the numbers, the saab isnt that much more expensive to fly. if they want the saab on property, it would be much more cost effective to get rid of tje beech and only hqve to deal with one airframe-just like we did at colgan(until we got the q). Also, the number of seats that we sol increased a little as the larger airplane rolled in. it was more comfortable, had a bathroom, flight attendant, and beverage service. people drool over the small stuff.
