I think you're right. 6 flying, 6 reserve, and new hires are going to the Saab. I also was curious about the "reserved" bases on the Preferential Bid. And with the recent email about our own ground ops returning to EYW, maybe we can see a crew base there in the future? (which would be awesome)

I wonder if Puerto Rico is still on the table considering the video? Whatever happens I hope it happens soon.

Me too. I had a chance to talk to the DO yesterday on the ramp in DUJ. They plan on doing Dulles flying next month and Atlanta shortly after (all pending DOT approval). There's plans for codeshare with United, and possibly Delta. Puerto Rico probably will happen closer to the end of the year, with about 10-12 S340s on property by October. If needed, 1900s will try to start things off if Saabs aren't ready. I may have a few details wrong, but thats the gist of what I got. If their Central Caribbean plans are what they say they are, the Puerto Rico flying could be an awesome gig.

It was my understanding that all new hires start in the 1900.
