You clearly have no grasp on how work rules, line guarantees, etc work. We also have been average $800/yr at Eagle for ontime/completion bonuses. We have CX pay, via a line guarantee, so the credit hours of our lines, is what we are paid, unless it is under 72 hours then we are paid 72 hours. We get conflicts as well, such as training/vacation (for now). Our per diem is also most likely better. I would rather have a 88 hour line, fly 78 because we are earlier or/and I have stuff CX, and still paid 88.
Also the JET time plays a role IMHO. The pic turbine is great, but it seems to be a dying requirement.

Since some people PMed me about incentive pay/contract details at Silver, here you go (this has nothing to do with Wingtip's post by the way):
-Green Incentive: Block or Better- Paid at $1.75 for every minute early per trip compared to a 3(?) month average. In Florida, you can average $400-800 extra PER MONTH. Not sure about the northern bases. No penalty for over blocking. Since its block time, even if you're delayed 4 hours, you still make money if you under block. *Note- Billings doesn't have this program
-Per Diem: $1.65 per hour for duty days > 9 hours, or overnights
-Pay protected lines. Block 60 hours, get paid 75. Fly 100 hours, get paid 100
-Open Time: Paid at 150%
-Lost Day Off (working on your day off): Paid at 150%.
- 2:1 duty rig. Get paid your block, or half your duty, whichever's greater
-Cancellation pay: pay protected for that trip
-Rx Pay: Pairing is cancelled, still paid, and considered to be "on call" for those hours (typically happens when an IOE pilot flies your line).
-Training: paid at your hourly rate X your monthly guarantee of 80 hours. You also make per diem for every hour you are away from home during training.
-Vacation: 1st year = 9 days. 2nd-6th year = 16 days per year. Theres figures for 7+ years but I hope no one plans on being here that long...
-Reserve: 75 hour guarantee/11 days off. Block 70.5 hours and you either have the rest of the month off, or are paid 150%
Anyone else feel free to chime in if im missing something...

How about we don't get into the "zomg, my regional is better than yours!" debacle. You may make a buck more than one guy, but his company may not be furloughing this week. You may be paid a higher per diem rate, but the other guy may make more in early trip pay. You may fly a jeeeeet with an autopilot, the other guy may be loving the hand flying.
Does it really matter, at the end of the day you still work at a regional. i mean c'mon, do we really have to whip um out and measure here? I really don't want a bunch of people to laugh at me, so lets try to keep it in our pants.
Again, if you come here to say "your airline sucks, my regional is soo much better, you're bringing the industry down!!!111!" you need to take a look at yourself too. Unless you're at a major with an awesome scope clause, pretty much every regional sucks and isn't doing much good for the industry.
Get a grip guys.
Oh and for everyone talking about Silver getting other airlines dropped routes, I leave you this. Southpark - They Took Our Job! - YouTube

As a former OH and 9L pilot, I'd like to add this simple line to the conversation...
DERKA DURRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Though I hold absolutely no malice toward any airline for "taking" anyone's flying, my hatred and anger are directed solely toward the screwups in both company's management teams (if you can call them that) for royally ******ing up and ruining all of our lives.
Now that's over with, you may continue bashing each other senselessly while management continues to hack away at our pay and benefits.

How long has it been since your interview? It took them 4.5 weeks to call me, and 3.5 to call one of my buddies. I think the current choke point in the timeline is the number of classes they can run. Apparently the currently only have one instructor that's qualified to teach initial. It sounds like they're pretty short on the line though, so once you show up they're really going to try and push you through.
I don't mind waiting if I end up getting the job though
Thank you for the info, it's very appreciated!!!
Congratulations, we are all very happy for you!!
