I've called 3 times, no one seems able to let me know if they want to offer me the job or not. People from the HR department say they don't know but they will have someone call me back, but I never get a call back.
Anyone heard of anybody being called for the May class???
Thanks

I called to follow up after I submitted my resume and the guy I spoke to said something about how they're hiring Pinnacle/Colgan people. I didn't quite catch what he said and I didn't want to keep him on the phone for too long as he sounded like he was pretty busy. Anyone have any idea how they're dealing with Pinnacle/Colgan applicants?

THanks
Thanks Mex, and jsfboat etc. Yes the gouge is still good. I was told I did good in the sim, although you are right it is a bear. I got near 90 on the written, and the interview went well.
Just hoping to hear something soon. Thanks so much to all you for reaching out and offering support and advice.
Hopefully see some of you applying in class soon! I hear there is an April 30th class, hope to be in it!

I wouldn't be so cocky if I were you. You are pretty much at the bottom of the list at Eagle, and if we start a furlough, you will be the first one to go. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Silver is the only one that will hire you.
You may have to swing a gear for Sandrich soon.

Going to Silver, I doubt that. Expressjet and many others are hiring out the wazooo, and if we lose flying, someone will gain it. Not only will someone gain our flying, but AA flying because they are going to end up losing 100 air frames in this BK to the RJs, IMHO since that seems to be closer to what everyone else has. So I think 1000 RJ jobs are coming, just from AA outsourcing more. Silver, nice playground BS but I mean seriously COME ON. I have a spot free record, got hired at 5 regionals are a year ago, and now well over 1000 hours, I even could go get my ATP.

Not trying to defend that guy but I have flown as a regional FO on a jet went to GIA as a street CA and then left for anther almost street CA job and the reason I left was not because I did not have an autopilot or cant do flying over 2 hours. I did not pay for training either. I left for better opportunities and eagle was the last place I would have gone.
My sim partner at my current airline left eagle after 6+ years as an FO.
I don't care what I fly as long as it pays good money and it improves my career. It is all luck. Back in 2004 I would have loved to go to eagle.

Move on up to a Major, or stick it out has been my experience. I spent seven years as an FO, but I've also been a captain now for 14 years, and blew right past all of these industry woes due simply to becoming senior at the regional I work for. I can't complain.
And yes, Sandrich, I LOVE my job and STILL have a great time while I'm working. I'm NOT miserable at Eagle. I spent YEARS sitting on the beach at those Bahamas resorts you're talking about, just like you are right now.

I am almost 400 from the bottom, if I go, I am glad to be gone, because that means this place is the next COMAIR, and I would rather be VERY YOUNG, still budgeted to 1st year pay, and happy with it, and out of here at that point.

There goes my chance of getting in ... I would just love to get a straight answer when I call to follow up on my status after the interview 3 weeks ago.

The more I see posts like this, the more I'm glad I didn't take the offer. Time and time again you hear about aviation being about professionalism and high standards. If you've been told you're hired, and you call to follow up on a class date. And they can't give you a solid answer, or they tell you they'll give you a call back and don't, what is that telling you??
I'm not saying that this isn't a good company to work for, but I mean no callbacks on relatively simple matters that can be easily resolved?
At this time and moment, I'm happier being a jump pilot. Flying out my hometown airport, living in the country, and enjoying life as a pilot. Hakuna Matata.
Good luck to you all.
