it's bad.

A mix of all, some to LCC (used to be spirit before they stopped hiring, but lots have also gone to frontier/jetblue). These days Breeze seems to be a hot place for a lot of our guys. If they go to a regional it's mainly to Envoy, and some go to ACMI as well. I heard an FO went straight to United but I think he has family connections there

Is Seaborne a part of Silver now? How does the Virgin Islands flying/hiring work?

Just an FYI. Usually, an interviewer will ask why do want to work here. Neither of these question will age well. As far as how the hiring and flying go, it is the same everywhere. Get hired, spend 60-90 spdays in training. Training ends one of two ways, with an S or a U. If it is an S, you go flying.

Best wishes

I don’t want to work there. Just want information.

If only the chief pilot in SJU would put some effort into making the operation something even remotely reliable!

All of our -500 flying was cargo with Amazon based out of AFW. In June of 2023 Amazon terminated the contract and Silver stopped flying the -500. The pilots from the AFW base were given the option to come to the San Juan/Florida network, some chose to, others didn't. Regardless, to answer your question, Silver no longer flies the -500, only the dash -600.

Can you explain how the Seaborne operation works? I know someone from the Islands who is interested.

Unfortunately I cannot help you there, I work in the FL network and really have no clue on the Seaborne side of things.
