Netjet FO Pay in next contract?
#11
While I'm sure NJASAP is trying to achieve significant contractual gains in compensation, if you want legacy (or even LCC) airline pay...you should probably go work for a legacy (or LCC) airline.
Doesn't NJA offer both 15 Flex and 18 day schedules (as opposed to the 7/7) for more money?

I have 24K hours and would never assume I'm a shoe-in. Your attitude reflects a certain arrogance that could bust you out of an interview. A little humility goes a long way.

Could you please tell us why? I'm curious because although I missed the application window, I am starting to keep my eye on them and researching. The pay scale doesn't seem attractive as an f/o compared to what you could achieve if you get a job at an airline. But I've always heard for years about netjets being a good place, just never asked why.
Thanks

Hello,
I have a good chance of getting on with NetJets during this upcoming hiring (internal rec) but I wonder if I am screwing up because it looks like I will be an FO for many, many years and the pay, right now, doesnt look all that great.
Anybody have any idea if these rates will come up with the new contract? 1 yr FO: 57K, 5 yr: 68K, 10yr: 81K
When I am a 10yr FO loading bags on an Excel during the winter at KIAD, will I be kicking myself for not holding out for 121?
With that said, with netjets there is no commuting and the other benefits are great. My friend who is there loves it but he was a CPT after 12 months or so. Big difference in pay.
Any information about the contract is appreciated.

If you go to NetJets, nothing is stopping you from moving on if the opportunity presents itself. But you will be loading bags in winter at YYZ, FAR, and ANC when your 60 if you come here and stay, may want to consider that.
For those who do not know our basing system. I am only responsible for getting myself to my local airport at the assigned time, after that I do what my iPhone says, maybe I'm on an airline or I have a plane at home, doesn't really matter. Also if you change fleets or seats you never have to change your base. The only down side is there are qualifiers for an airport to be a base and with the reduction in regional flying some airports are losing status, example if you are planning on living in someplace like AEX, you may have to drive to BTR or SHV someday. Also I can change my base every 30 days, want to live in an RV and travel the CONUS, go for it. I believe new-hires will be limited to the 100 base list at this time.

I could have sworn that 2-3 weeks ago on this site I read that they were accepting apps. I went online and didn't see it the day after, it was only 24hrs. Guess I could be wrong
