Like you, I may be intereted in option 2, but will probably stay on option 1, better portion control for me, there's always a place where I can get a crew meal and it saves me from the usual "last minute brief change into the night arriving too late to use the meal deviation/receipts"

Another example of the union being in the passenger seat. Or really, the jumpseat lol. Not TAing sections as they go, just a broad AIP that they have to fill in all the blanks on later. The most important part of a contract are the words inside, and that is what they are waiting on management for...
