I was at NJA from 2005-2017. You do see a lot of PBI, it's a very busy hub for NetJets. I assume they still have a stock locker and NJA employees to help with the jet. If you domicile in PBI you'll start/end a fair number of trips out of there but not the majority.

I just did two overnights at PBI over the course of last tour. The stock lockers have gone away and now they’re service hubs. They’re stock vans that drive up to the plane and take care of all the stocking and cleaning. Or if they’re busy leave the plane as is and head to the hotel. They’ll have it ready by morning. It’s definitely nice to have those extra few minutes every time you go to one.

If you had a 12.5 hour midtour layover in PBI and lived 25 minutes from the airport - would you take the hotel and try to rest because you're exhausted or would you go home?

Considering they can get us a hotel 25 minutes away without worrying about rest, I think it would be foolish not to sleep in your own bed.

When I overnight in base, I go home and it’s about 45 minutes. It’s happened twice in my entire career but I don’t call a bustling metropolis like TEB, HPN, PBI, or VNY home.

What list? If it's a "Career Destination" list you are OUTTA YO MIND. If it's a "Jet Time Building Steppingstone to a Major" list, well, you could do worse.

Jusssssss sayin.

How many hours a year is realistic to expect at NJ in your first year on a 7/7 schedule? I know it'll vary some by plane type, but I'm looking for a rough idea.

A little lower than average first year because of the time spent in training, waiting for IOE etc. Depending on fleet, first year should be 400-500 ish. 600 ish after that. But mileage will vary WIDELY based on your fleet.

If you're looking to move up to a major airline then regionals are probably better for building time. At least once they get some PIC's trained. Some regionals have stopped hiring F/O's because they don't have enough PIC's to pair them with.

And what GeWizDriver said about fleet types is very true. When I was flying the "BeechJunk" at NJA I probably didn't get more than a few hundred hours per year. I bet Mx threw a big party when the last one left the fleet.
