If you have an iPhone, download the Books app.

Go to the NJASAP website and view the 2020AA. There is a link on the right side to the Master PDF.

When it opens, use the share icon (looks like an arrow coming out of a box) and select the Books app. The contract will download to the application and will be searchable by text and organized by chapter.

Exclamation Confirmation for bidding

I would really appreciate some information on scheduling for NetJets and how to get confirmation on what was bid for preferences. If a pilot needed to provide a parenting time coordinator ( I'm unfortunately divorced) confirmation on what was the preferences bid is that an easy process? I know each company is different in how scheduling works. In short, if a pilot had to prove preferences after the bid closes how would that person receive the confirmation? Would scheduling be able to send a copy of what as bid? Any help would be great! Thank you!

All bids in the Crew Bidding software send a confirmation email to your company and personal email, listing what you bid. This is true for the 3 bid periods per year, PLCS for the Crew Choice schedules, vacations, PTO, tour slides, aircraft, etc. The awards are published separately but can still be retrieved.

Never had a problem with the courts with my schedule.

The courts love the 7/7 way more than a 72 or 76 choice from experience.

I would agree that 7/7 works perfect for this. Just flew with a female pilot and that is the sole reason she is at NetJets and not the airlines. The 7/7 works perfect for her custody. She said her ex is very vindictive and when she wasn't on the 7/7 with her previous job, he really messed with her and her schedule. She is stuck at NetJets because of this though

Is it true that a good portion of the 7 on 7 off schedules start and end on a weekend day? Saw that on a Reddit thread about NetJets, but haven’t been able to confirm that info anywhere else.

It is true that the during last year's flush bid the Company elected to shift the number of slots available for each start day away from weekdays towards weekends. If my memory serves me correctly, one of the scheduling committee members said that historically the available start days were 60% weekday/40% weekend, and after the change it was 40% weekday/60% weekend. Most of the weekend starts should be on Saturday as Sunday starts are contractually limited to 15% of the total 7/7 lines. I do know that there were a bunch of folks who used to hold a weekday start that were no longer able to hold it in the last flush bid.

The reason the commany reversed the 60/40 split and now have 60% of the 7/7 lines on a weekend start is they were hoping it would force more pilots to the 8/6. If a crewmember wanted a Wednesday start, they may not get it on 7/7 but would on 8/6. Some did this and some didn't.
