Five bucks and an FBO cookie says Das Auto will be looking to leave within two years of his NJA class date. FO attrition is accelerating here.

Could be quicker than that. Not necessarily a bad to place to hang out until the major of choice calls.

Yes, it is. The regionals are a much faster route to the majors. If you come here as a stepping stone, then you're making the wrong choice.

It’s really hard to get hired at an airline with no 121 time. Don’t expect the top 3 to ever call any 135/91 pilot with no 121 time without some significant modifiers (military, astronaut etc.).

I just ran into one of our 24 year captains on an over 40K airplane that has put his "looking to get out of this mess" game into high gear! That should tell you volumes!

Oh, and he wasn't a young guy by any means! Double digit seniority, and I mean in the top half of the double digit numbers, like 50 or less. The QOL, or lack thereof at this place isn't a tangible item that any applicant will see on paper, only by listening to the guys currently living the nightmare. Listen closely, they are trying to tell you!

WN isn’t one of the big 3 of course, but they have hired dozens of straight 91/91K/135 folks over the last few years.

Yep, most of them had prior 121. I know of 2 that didn’t, but they had significant prior 135 PIC experience. At the moment, I would be surprised to see anyone with no prior 121 and no TPIC to get picked up there. Doesn’t meant it won’t happen though. Lots of NJA guys have been picked up by WN which is awesome.

Career wise WN is a great choice.
