Leave Netjets?

It's like a regional pilot telling everyone they fly for Delta because it's painted on the side of their CRJ 200.

Please explain to me how me flying for Alaska/Virgin has anything to do with the claims I have made about NetJets? And please further explain how anything I said is comparable to somebody flying a CRJ and saying they work for Delta.

Let me help you out genius.
Its less stressful because for one you have an actual ticket in your hand on the companies dime, not just slip to hopefully sit in the Jumpseat.
Second, you're on duty the whole time. If it takes you all day to get to the aircraft and you time out you go to the hotel. You could in theory spend the whole day (or night) commuting to your airline gig, then be available to fly a full duty period.
Lastly, if your flight is delayed, canceled, Jumpseat already taken etc. that's not your problem. I know airlines have a commuter clause before throw that at me, but that just means you're not disciplined if you miss your trip due to circumstances beyond your control. You're not pay protected for the trip you missed are you.
Like I said, this isn't an argument about whether Netjets is better than a major airline, its exposing the pros and conns that each has to offer. You can try and convince all you want that commuting is no big deal Kellyanne, but no one who's ever done it is buying your B.S.
Whatever beef you have with Netjets is getting boring and frankly quite juvenile. I'm still baffled as to why you continue feel the need to post on here despite the fact that you left for Virgin (not Alaska like you keep telling everyone.)
If you do feel the need to continually feed your addiction, at least have the decency to post accurate information instead of alternative facts.

I didn't say commuting was no big deal universally, stop selling the worse case scenario regarding the airlines and commuting to justify your choice to go to NetJets. As for my beef with NetJets? Open your eyes slugger, go read the dozens of other people who echo what I say. It has literally NOTHING to do with your false assumption that I somehow think I am above NetJets or better because I work for an airline, nothing can be farther from the truth. Who I work for has nothing to do with what it is like to work at NetJets, and what I have said is completely accurate.
I think it is absolutely hilarious how you are trying to explain to me how travel on NetJets works though, please tell me more!
If you wanna work at NetJets, that's great, do your thing and I hope you enjoy it, but don't live in a fantasy world just to try and justify your decision.

No need to throw your teddy out of your stroller Jetlife.
I was hired at NetJets. Just waiting on a class date and still deciding whether to even accept the position or not.
One of the advantages for me is not having to commute, that's all. I've done it and it sucks. You saying otherwise is simply bad information. You even admitted you don't commute but are somehow an expert on the subject.

Just remember, you chose the crappy commute, nobody did that for you. You have nobody to blame but yourself, and just because your commute was crappy, doesn’t mean all commutes are crappy, that goes back to that critical thinking thing that I think you’re missing on this. I’m sure all your travel on NJA will be care free, first class seating and care free. Just remember to buy KCM because the company doesn’t provide it unless you want your uniform allowance cut in half.

What happens when DRO drops off the approved base list and you have to drive to DEN? What happens in 5 years from now and you only have 50 people under you and they decide to furlough again?
I seriously wish you the best of luck but if you think NetJets is the end all be all to your problems and the problems you think the airlines faced because you worked at a regional, you’re sorely mistaking.

Leave Netjets?
People who choose to commute do so at their own peril... and at The cost of having a really enjoyable career...honestly living in base and working for a legacy making Captain money is about as good as ot gets.
I get the general thought process that goes into commuting.. ie, wifes family, kids, friends eyt..... but honestly, way to many pilots ***** about having to commute, when in reality they should tell their wife to get over it.." we're moving"

Yup. I will not spend a life of commuting. If I move to a new base and don’t want to pull kids out or something like that if I get displaced, I’ll commute until they are out of school then move, or maybe just say screw it and move anyway. I still maintain the fact that commuting is a spectrum and can be much easier for some than others. It goes without saying but I’ll say it anyway lol. If you can hold commutable trips and you can fly a 1 leg, 1 hour commute, life is harder than living in base but not nearly as hard as it can get.
