Exchanging Foreign Coins
I have half a coffee-can of various foreign coins, collected over the last 20+ years.
Many of these I can't even identify, other than to say "....uh.....Asia?"
You see money changing venues in airports everywhere, but generally only in paper, and their own country's coins.
Question: is there a place/company to exchange/redeem coins of various monetary units that does not entail going to the country of issue?

I've had a very hard time converting coins, unlike bills. Last year, I had CHF 40, about $40 US, could not exchange than anywhere--airports, London exchange bureaus, banks. I sold them to a F/A who had a long stay in GVA.

Asiana Airlines has a program where it collects foreign coins from passengers and someone will sort them out, and donate all to charity.
I keep all foreign currencies, paper or coins. If the euro falls apart, I'm going to need all that pesetas and escudos!
Another suggestion is to sell them on ebay.
