Definitely Uber driver if you have a car that meets their criteria. Unfortunately, mine is too old and I certainly cannot afford something else. Substitute teaching is a great idea and something I would like to pursue if I can stop commuting.

I've always found it easier and more profitable to pick up extra flying than anything else. Scheduling is easier that way too. For a short 2-leg day trip I usually get between 200 and almost 300 bucks of take-home.

Just to illustrate my earlier post...

Yesterday I flew one leg. Block time was 48 minutes. My gross pay was $330.88.

Thanks everyone. My plan will be to try to pick up critical pay and extra flying when I can, i just have to learn to work the system and figure all this 121 stuff out.
