I had 1,500 T210 and P210 time in a similar situation 6 years ago and charged $300 a day. I saved the owner half of his insurance since I was named PIC until he had his requirements. He kept me on for almost 2 years despite him being one of the best stick-and rudder pilots I have ever seen.
Recently I did the same thing for a King Air 90 buyer - insurance dropped about $2,000 with me as "mentor".
I own a 58TC and have a lot of King Air time. I wish I was closer to you. I now charge $400 and your time and savings would more than justify the cost or even be the same. You and your family would be safe.

Like a few others have said $200/day plus expenses is about right imo. Hourly rate would probably be somewhere between $55-$75 depending on many things, but keep in mind that the higher they charge doesn't always mean they provide a better quality.
Best advice I can give if you are looking for a true professional pilot: Find the professional pilot first, then ask him what he charges. Ask around the local airports, especially bonanza owners, who the best instructor is for your airplane. The ones who have been around there for a while will know.
Good luck

What was said by me (loosely paraphrased) is that pilots are cheap. I'm not "building time".
I'm not a CFI; never have been, and have no intention of becoming one.
