I was a bartender in college decades ago.

Now I spend time with wife.

When the $^&t hit the fan 9 years ago, I affiliated with the Reserves. Military has its ups and downs/pros and cons, but right now it provides me more stability than flying. Got to be willing to go to the midEast for a year or so though...

My dad was a pilot. He used to just brew his own beer and wine on his days off.

Used to be a waiter during the first few years as an FO. Easy to drop/pickup shifts on short notice and walking out with $100-200 cash is nice.

If your not flying 6 days a week, you should be working on plan "B" or even plan "C". That could mean learning a new skill. Something you could do, if job "A" falls apart.
