Unhappy ouch

Thanks TM for a great post. Hate to see this, and not just for the obvious reason. Increased fuel costs mean the airlines will have to make more cuts somewhere... gee I wonder who's gonna get told to tighten their belts and suck it in, the last contract negotiations are now "inoperative"?

We ain't seen nothing yet. Oil prices will continue to climb, and will pass $100/barrel next year already.

I live in Nova Scotia and for the last 3 years week have not payed less then 3.50 a gallon and right now it is about 4.30 a gallon. I can't wait until I get back to the states to have some gas relief.

That's tough!

At least you don't live in Europe, where they're paying double what we in the states are paying.

3 bucks in South Texas? When I lived in San Antonio in the late 90's I could fill up my truck for under $10. I think it got to 68 cents a gallon. What the hell happened?
