I'm new to the boards, and late to this thread, but, please tell me what the heck this is supposed to mean:

"To a woman an airline pilot is an ox to pull the wagon of their dreams."

Are you implying that pilots make alot of money, or no money?

It implies that women generally THINK pilots make a lot of money. Whether or not pilots actually do make a lot of money is another matter.

LOL, thats what I thought you meant. However, I just can't relate to that thought process.

Hence, the reason for ALOT of the problems between men and women.

Now get back in the kitchen.

Riiiiiiight.

Anyway. I really don't think young people getting married right now live up to your standard of women trying to marry a sugar daddy. Almost all of my friends (myself included) make more than their husbands do. We all went to college (except 1, who is a stay at home mom who does daycare from their home).

Why stereotype?

Hi Pilot's wife, BTW, welcome to the forum... Don't mind Dojet, I think he's trying to humor you..

I agree with you about women not marrying sugar daddies these days. Sure, there are probably some out there, but it works both ways. Hang in there and good luck with everything.

DoJet, the lawn needs mowing!...

Couple things;

1. The kitchen thing was a joke. YOU chose to enter a forum that is male dominated, like aviation. If you are thin skinned or have little sense of humor, you might want to stop perusing these boards. Males wont change anytime soon, and sadly, neither will females.

2. You used the words "your standard of women trying to marry a sugar daddy". Reading my post, I don't believe I once mentioned what my personal standard was on the issue. All I did was point out the fact that men and women have a hard time relating to one another at times, causing alot of problems between us. Nothing more, nothing less.

Skygirl, I'm an airline pilot remember? I don't have time do crap like mow the lawn. Besides, I live in a high rise downtown so I don't have to spend my 20 days off a month on such mundane tasks. I'd rather be out spending the $200,000 USAToday says that I make on Cadillacs and golf. Oh yeah, I'm also trying to figure out what I'm going to do on my exotic layovers next month.

For those who suffer a sarcasm deficiency, sorry.
