Default AF PFT requirements?

Hello, I am a senior in high school and was just wondering what the Personal Fitness test requirements were for the Air Force, I know there is a 1.5 mile run I think to be completed in 10:45 minutes, but what about pushups and situps?

Thankyou and any helpful tips are appreciated!!

It's not a simple answer. Your run times depend on how you do in other areas. If you max out all the pushups/situps, you could practically walk the 1.5 miles and pass. If you don't do so well on the others, you need to do well on the run to get your total score up enough to pass. Then to make it worse, it depends on your age how many points you need to score to pass.

It's not a very demanding PT test. Just look at the average AF dude...myself included.

Any truth to the rumor that the PFT will now be part of one's OPR?

I don't know if it an AFROTC thing or Active duting thing, but we actually have minimums on the PFT. 33 pushups, 40 sit ups, 1.5 run in 12:30
