A pulse, the interview gouge, and a resume... Preferably show up to the interview clothed and sober and the job is yours to lose.

I had similar circumstances (Navy fixed wing maritime guy who hadn't flown in 3 years) and no less than 4 regionals were seeking me out to interview with them.

I ended up going with an ISR contractor. Whilr not everyone's cup of tea, the money is good and it was an easy transition and no issues getting through training.

Recently read about a guy out of flying 20 years,hired at regional. A poster asked him what he did to get current. ..answer: nothing. ..he just showed up for class.

When I upgraded, my sim partner was someone I flew with at Comair. He'd been out of flying over two years and had no problem. He's a former AF F/E with 10 years at Comair.

You shouldn't have much problem getting hired at a regional. If at all possible, get a base where you live or are willing to relocate too.
