Default TriCare prime retirement or LCC insurance ?

TriCare prime retirement or LCC insurance ?
Retried military what's better going Need to punch my time at a regional? If I go to a regional my deductible and out of pockets would reset, was thinking of using tri care reserve?

How about grey area reserve retirees, is there a Tri care option for this? I called reserve benefits, today but got no where.

Does tri care go fiscal year for deductibles and out of pocket? Does it match up with regional or major insurance? Dental optical plans?

I'm finding your post a little unclear. Will you be retired? Or a reserve?

Which company will you be working at?

TRS or Retired Tricare is most likley better than regional insurance. You can probably save the trouble of even bothering to do the math.

Grey Area Tricare, you need to do the math.

The benefit of Tricare is not just the routine costs...the max total out-of-pocket cap is relatively very low. With low-end civilian employer plans (ie any regional) a catastrophic expense or expense long-term condition is probably going to keep sucking money out of your pocket.

Tricare retired reserve grey area benefits in particular was my comparison to regionals or majors. I see it's about $390 a month single or $500 family, with a $150 deductible, but dont see anything on max out of pocket for expenses like the typical 80/20 or 50/50 for fees.
I think these can be used until age 60, then prime maybe, I'm not sure if this is a good option. I don't live near a MTF (?) What have others used or has anyone price compared them? Or maybe their are after market Obama care plans that are better? Most regionals have pretty bad health insurance, with high deductibles and copays, out of pocket expenses no have lifetime limits. I have a child with special needs so health care is a concern for going to a regional compared to a LCC or major. Thanks for any input.
