Converting Navy Flight Logbooks to LogTen Pro
#11
Thanks gents. Much appreciated.
So to illustrate this point, let's say I'm logging a 10 hour flight:
There's 4 pilots on board. 2 Aircraft Commanders and 2 Copilots. We will each divide up the FP and CP time evenly, however I will log all the AC time as I signed for the plane. For that flight in my logbook, I will have: Total Time: 5.0, First Pilot: 2.5, Copilot: 2.5, Aircraft Commander 10.0, Special Crew: 5.0. Is that correct?

Agree completely with e6bpilot and to the previous poster (justflycasual) all the FPT/CPT you log in the Navy is no different than an airline first officer splitting legs with the captain on a multi-leg trip. Half the legs you fly, and the other half you work the comms & navs. But all the time you log prior to becoming a Captain (airline) or Aircraft Commander (military) is 100% SIC time.
