Looks like there's plenty of on-street parking. Probably a parking lot or garage or two also. Don't bring the Vette or Mercedes. If you've got an old Vega, drive that, that way when you come out, if "they've" messed with your car, you won't be too disappointed. Whatever you do, don't park in a tow-away-zone, because they will.

There's a parking garage that most folks who drove last time used. It's within a block or so on 28th St. just south of Queens Plaza/the elevated tracks.
That's where I parked...I believe JB had included it as a recommended spot to go in one of the emails they sent just prior to the event.

Had to have our pretty much new Durango towed this morning, so unfortunately I won't be there on Monday. I don't really trust our other vehicle to make the round trip BTV-NYC. Apologies for the late notice to whoever got my slot - thanx for your service and I hope you're in the right seat soon.
Looking forward to next time...

Won't we get you a positive space ticket from BTV-JFK? It wouldn't hurt to ride on us and get a feel for the culture, before going to Vets in Blue.

According to the email, travel accommodations are not provided. Which is fine - it's not an interview. Wasn't sure how the truck would play out, so I just wanted to make sure the next guy got as much lead time as possible.
My app is in - maybe I'll get lucky. I have a bunch of helo time, so it was a long shot anyway.

Concur. At VIB in November, one of the captains was a former Army rotor head and was interested in talking to and getting the resumes from his fellow rotor heads in the crowd. Incredibly, by the time I spoke with him I had run out

Invites for March 31st went out. Two of my friends received invites.
Haven't heard anything about the later interview dates they mentioned.
Anybody get calls for the later interview dates?
