Damn. And with the USAF bleeding experience and the leadership fixing the wounds with band-aids, we'll see these kinds of mishaps more, IMHO.

Godspeed to the crew.

Looks like it may have been an Army C-12 based on some downrange intel. Sad news either way.

. It was an Army bird with a mixed crew...Army and Civilian...including someone I knew.

Not everything in the world has something to do with (or lack thereof) USAF leadership.
That is as bad as the politicians always trying to push 'talking points' of their agendas during interviews that have nothing to do with the question.

Jungle,

Sorry for your loss.

I've been around your organization and have a GREAT deal of respect for everyone involved that I have met. Lots of 'Grey-Hair' level experience there. Quiet professionals that have helped me both in person and in the air.

Sad.

I don't think Huey meant any disrespect; just overlooked the fact that the Army also flies the MC-12.....in fact, has decades more experience doing so.

The Air Force leadership has done some stupid things in this operation, as Huey has alluded to. No disrespect to the crews intended, and my condolences to this crew.

semantics here but i think they are RC-12s....they are not based on the 350 like the AF MC-12. We are about to start flying mixed crews with AF/Army in the MC-12 very soon.
