I'm no flight surgeon Zach but that isn't the best of news to be honest in my experience.

Yeah meant to say link is down, its working now for me. But yeah what i read online is that a heart mur mur isnt allowed. But what I think im going to do now is complete my four years at the college im at and acquire all my ratings. An than just apply for OCS. By than in 3-4years I will grow out of my mur mur like the Docs prediction. My last option mine as well go for it.

Also for heart mur murs if for some reason in 4 years I still have it and I dont get into the Navy. How strict is the guard on that? Or is all military aviation requirements the same.

It's murmur. Using the right word will help when searching for answers/documentation.

I know there is a NOMI-Equivalent in the USAF, I had to deal with them when i was looking at flying Herks for the Wyoming Air Guard.

I'm not sure of their web address, but maybe a AF/ANG guy can chime in.

Also, do you have an actual no-joke diagnosis for the murmur, complete with EKG? I had a guy in a squadron that had something that sounds like a murmur, but was a "right cardial branch block" or something to that effect, which was no big deal, he just had to get an EKG every year vice every five.

Self diagnosis, or a doc saying "you MAY have x" is not a diagnosis in of itself.

Alright gotcha, I have spell check thing on my phone an it changes murmur to "mur mur". An yes I have had EKG's before probably around 3 of them for a Junior Hockey league I played in. Everything was normal.
