That's exactly why I bounced after 11 1/2 years.

So now onto some of us that have made the decision to get out. I got a reserve job lined up. Anyone know the step by step process on how to transition to the reserves? Any special benefits (10 days to house hunt or points on terminal leave)? I have heard you can drop paperwork up to a year out but MUST give 180 days notice. I'll take advice and/or web links/references. Thanks! And BTW the military is a great place to serve I am happy but ready to joyfully serve in the reserves!

The Reserves won't give you house hunting trips or the like. Your move needs to be the one AD gives you as separation. The unit guys will more than help, but it isn't a PCS.
