Thanks guys! I guess it would be a good idea to go ahead and finish my bachelors degree. I put it on hold to go through flight school. It has actually been great for me because I was getting real burned out with college... but now I am more determined than ever to finish.

Just had a friend that was turned down because he had a tattoo that was on the side of his neck and it was less than 25%.

Necks and hands are a whole different ball park. Bottom line, if someone has a tattoo on their neck or hand that doesn't already have a body-suit or most of the rest of their body covered... they probably aren't the brightest bulb in the bunch. Just my .02

My unit (C-17's Reserve) just sent a girl who has over 6,000 hours and was an RJ Captain at a Regional airline. She watered their eyes at UPT and won the Commander's Trophy (Top Student) She's also very humble and not cocky in the least which probably helped her more than her flying experience to a certain degree. I on the other hand am not humble, or lack confidence..so I had a huge target on my back throughout UPT....My advice to anyone going to UPT is to remain quiet, humble, and listen carefully.

If my tattoos mean I can't fly in the military, then I will just stay civvie and work on my career like I've been doing. I wear long sleeves and pants every day of my life so it isn't that big of a deal to most employers.
I know more than a few who have stuff under the shirt line.
I did notice that one of our interns has a star tatooed on the underside of his wrist the other day. I don't know if attitudes about that are changing since tatts are becoming more socially acceptable.
