Sounds like your a little insecure about women if you are letting this girl dictate your entire future. Not trying to put you down but I've seen many guys "settle" for women who are not the right ones. If you become a pilot, there will be a ton of chicks to choose from, I was a regular guy in high school, after college/UPT etc suddenly I have a cool job, making nice cash, and all of those cheerleaders who wouldn't say Hi to me in the hallway are jumping in my Vette and taking off their bikini tops!!!! Dude, Follow your dreams, the girls will follow!!! You'll be resentful the rest of your life as your insecure 6-month girlfriend ends up being your chubby whining wife, *****ing at you on the way to the Bed, Bath and Beyond. Run Forrest Run!

He made his decision, and a good one at that...... somebody will come along that will respect you, no matter what you want from life!

You'd be surprised... I know a former U-2 pilot, who decided to become an Army nurse. Good guy.

The ironic thing is that asking pilots for relationship advice is like asking Bernie Madoff for investment tips.
