PCS Entitlements
Some questions for the guys that have already made the move back to AD.
1. Do we get a uniform allowance?
2. Do we get a dislocation allowance if moving without dependents?
3. For a CONUS move I'm assuming we qualify for the 10 days of Permissive TDY, correct?
Thanks in advance.

For what it's worth, I just received an e-mail saying STRATCOM, Langley and AF Safety Center, were the ones with the priority now. At least this is what they said I was going to be offered since I turned down the flying option they gave me. I plan to turn these down too.
They appear to not be willing to give any flying assignments which require a long training course. I think short courses are OK, i.e requlaification training.

1. Yes, $400.00 uniform alllowance was included in the first paycheck.
2. I don't think so, but I will inquire. If this was voluntary on your part, but you had the opportunity/availability to move your dependents in your EAD orders with you, and elected not to, the answer would be no.
3. Yes, I got the ten days made available to me when I first checked into the squadron, but I don't recall it being anything formal. They only wanted to know the day I arrived. I had ten PTDY days available, but only needed eight.
Hope this helps.

Dislocation Allowance
Dislocation allowance I would imagine would be handled just like when you first came on Active duty. You are not eligible for it on your first move.
But, I might be wrong for those that are returning to active duty.

Actually they change the rules and you do get a dislocation allowance on your first PCS, but only if you are moving with dependents from what I read.

Pay Question
For those who have returned and are on flying-status:
Do retired-returnees get Flight Pay? I'm not talking bonus; I mean the regular monthly pay?
I'm in a special category (no cat-calls, please). Since I have over 26 years of rated service, I get conditional flight pay right now. It means I get nothing unless I fly at least 4 hours a month; then they go back, and add it in.
I am just curious if I will still be in that category once recalled, or if they say "You don't need any incentive to stay, so you get nothing."

Flight pay requirements?

UAL T38 Phyler, I'm in the same boat. To obtain flight pay, you must make 170 gate months. Now I am over that stated amount and am not in a flying billet (its a staff job), yet I am still awaiting to get paid via my new adjusted Aviation Service Date, so I can at least collect my remaining three months of flight pay. This is taking an extraordinarily long time.
To qualify again to draw monthly flight pay having passed the 170 gate months, you are correct, you would need to be "actively" engaged in a flying slot to continue to do so, but this usually applies only to generals.
