. Applicant must
mark the block in item 14 that reference AFI 36-2008; mark block C below
AFI 36-2008; and write/type in “Limited Period Recall Program” in block C.
I got the forms to print. Here is the reference for IRR's to mark block 14. I'm going to have fun trying to find all the forms--hidden away in boxes somewhere. Is there an easier way to get copies? To show how old I am they were "OER's" then. If anyone has answers please let me know. I received the letter for the physical--how do we get a list of the places to do the physicals. Thx, Tom

Any idea how this might affect the retiree recall?

Any Air Force Flight Medicine office can give you the physical. The trouble will be getting them to do it because of the number of flight surgeons that are deployed. The letter is suppose to tell them they are suppose to treat you like an active duty member but the reality is something different. I live near St Louis and Scott AFB is just 20 minutes away but the Scott AFB flight surgeon refused to do my physical. I tried Whiteman AFB next and they said No because they were tired of taking Scott's overflow. I called AFPC and all I got from them was "Well they should honor the letter but if they don't there isn't anything we can do about it. You are on your own to get a physical done." I called Wright-Patt's Flight Surgeon next and they said come on down. It cost me an airline ticket but the folks at Wright-Patt were great, efficient and quick with the paperwork.

Anyone know about the regular return to active duty program as far as what your STRD (short tour return date) will be for a reservist coming back in to the regular Air Force, i.e. not under the LPRP program. Reason asked, 365 day tdy's are auto generated based on that date and I checked with MPF and reservists do not even have that date. So would we be on the top of the list for the 365 tdy or do we have a date like the date we come back on active duty as or STRD? Thanks for any info

I spoke to Recall Ops yesterday and asked them about any impacts on their recall programs since the AF is reducing officer manning by 2074 positions. They said that they don't have any additional guidance but that the retired recall program ends on the 31st of December.

Got my Dates
I received an email from AFPC yesterday. The AO revalidation/FEB waiver only took about half the 60 days they said it might take. My class date for UAV training at Creech will be 17 May. They can bring me on AD up to 60 days prior to that so my EAD will be 16 March I'm told. Started this process on 1 May.
