I received the same message yesterday. I sent an email back and they replied saying, "Without your medical clearance your package cannot meet the review panel however, you have been given an assignment." I emailed them back and I got a message that they I've been assigned my first choice to go back to 135's. You might want to ask them if they've given you an assignment as well.
My next question is this review panel. I noticed that it used to be a board that got together to approve the packages every week or so, but now its just a review panel. Is it likely I'll still get my choice or could they reject the offer from assignments based on what they see in the package?

The payment we receive is for the month that just ended. Since my effective date of duty is 21 Sep, I'll still get a partial month's payment for the first 20 days of Sep paid at the beginning of Oct.
Simple so far, but I have my doubts that it won't get dorked up down the road.

Retired Pay and Active Duty Pay
When you return to AD from being retired here a a few things. When you retired the AF does a good job of transfering over your pay to retired side of DFAS however there is no way to bring it back to the AD side or so I have been told. Base finance needed to recreate my pay record, just like when you first entered the AF. Once established then you can add back on your allotments etc. To stop your retired pay your orders need to go to DFAS. DFAS was on my distro list on the bottom of my orders but they claim they never got them. They would not accept a copy from me so I contacted AFPC to fax them my orders (DFAS stated they needed it from AFPC). Also MPF did not know I was coming (yes they were on the distro list also). Bottom line it took 2 weeks for MPF to load me into the milpds system. Just a heads up. Good luck to all
