I'll be interested to see how the JAGMAN and the SIR read and are different or similar in their findings. Either way a crappy deal all the way around. Continued thoughts and prayers to the families of those lost in this mishap. God Bless.
JAGMAN was suppose to be released last Monday and the SIR last Friday. Both were delayed. I imagine if the newpapers have more on the story now that the JAGMAN must have been released though I haven't seen it. SIR is still not out yet. This will be a read to file away in the back of your brain.

Having just listened to the FAA released recordings, all I can say is wow....I'm guessing you're right USMCFLYR

In no way do I intend to second guess or judge those that made decisions that day in a public forum. Those judgements will come out in the wash. As a former NATOPS Evaluator and CRM instructor in this aircraft, there will be plenty of things to learn from the way this was handled in many different areas. Also as an FRS IP, I can see where the decision to bring the student to Miramar was made for a number of different reasons. I would love to be able to listen to the ODO/Pilot transmissions as well.
