F-18 Crash in Miramar

My heart goes out to that guy. I'd send him some money, but I know the government will take care of that. Anybody seen an address where we could send a card or something?
I talked to one of my wife's friends at a party last night...her house was one block away from the impact

Thank you, I'll call to ask what they think would be the best way to help this poor guy...
What about the F18 pilot? Any idea how we could send him some encouraging words too??

I just drove by the crash site two days ago, it is about 300 yards from my boy's day care. The site is completely cleared save the burn marks on the street. It is a very sad site, and yes, listening to the surviving father/husband will give some perspective to anyone's lot in life.
Follow that up with a New Year's conversation I had with a Marine buddy who is part of one of the many investigations underway. He didn't offer specifics other than to say none of the investigations will read well, nor will they pull any punches due to the media and community scrutiny of this mishap and tragedy. We'll know soon enough, sucks though.

I wouldn't expect any punches to be pulled for any reasons.
