Not sure I would go as far as to say Manas "rocked"

but I would take it over the Deid any day, even after our brave LtCol's little incident. What leadership we have here in the AF....

When I first went to the Deid, we built our own tents, ate MREs, and peed in holes in the ground. The 1st of three tent chow halls came a few weeks later.

I've been to the new big chowhall at the Deid and I didn't think it was as good as Manas's ... but different strokes for different folks is what makes the world go round.

The best everything in the AOR is in the CAOC because they don't follow any of the rules they set for the AOR. The Muff is the best example. Typical AF leadership setting ridiculous rules and handing out article 15's like candy to suckers unlucky enough to get caught while they break thier own rules on a regular basis.

We passed through the Deid for about 10 days on the way home and I was shocked to see our Per Diem was over a $100 a day. Maybe to pay for the black market booze tickets?!?!
