C-17 replace C-5???

To any C-5 Guard/Reservists: Have you heard any rumors if the C-17 will replace the C-5 at particular bases (Wright Patt, Stewart)?

I heard from Boeing sim instructors that they might begin the C-17 bed down soon at some C-5 locations.

I've heard that the WP AFB decision is imminent.

Assuming this rumor is true....

Then was there any further discussion as to where the where would the C-5s be relocated. Or would they stay at WP in addition too the C-17?

Survey says: the 433d in San Antone would get Wright Patt's C-5s if the transition were to take place.
