UPT to UAVs...what a deal!

With a varied career like that I'd like to see the official bio and picture. Anyone with that much experience and time in service will be high up on the pecking order so I expect that he would be in command of *something**!
Sorry sundance - but that was one of the worse attempts of passing yourself off as someone that you are not on these forums since the illustrious Tony Montana!!

The only 36 year Colonel I ever knew had risen from the enlisted ranks all the way through 1stSgt during the Vietnam War, to a battlefield commisson, and was a Medal of Honor winner. thank goodness he could write!

i have been in the USAF for 36 years as a fighter joc and i have flowen bombers b52 and c130 c131 and the herculesi have been wounded 9 times and had to bail out 3 times yet of all this i have also flowen the UAV reaper the idea of the UAV well i was saying to my self great replace the pilot with a computer after i flew (after a short learning curve ) i flew a armed UAV and it was great fantastic and all the hoopalla from non combat pilots i have to say this. the USAF new generation of UAV's and the wepons on the aircraft are 100% effective and saves lives of not just pilots but our brothers on the ground, the future of the UAV is unpresidented it has the potential and ability to become the main line of soliders on the ground and the pilot to be a life saver and the cost of the UAV is down and going down as verses the cost of the f22 raptor or the f35 these are billion dollar craft that is shot down ( any bird can be shot down regarless of stealth) the UAV is still piloted by exsperianced pilots with combat skills and they get real time fead and have in the last 2 years done a remarkable job not just in iraq but africa and most recently N.KOREA to all you so called pilots and will fly for $$$$$ i say take a hike or get your hands on and see real life exsperiance before flapping your jaw's the pilot is not and will not be out of a job but the new birth of todays UAV,s are well worth our tax dollars and are serving the army, USAF, navy, and marines and cost guard well and doing a great job My hats off to the UAV and men and women that keep them flying and taking out RPG teams in iraq and pakistan and afghanstan salute to my brothers in arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL
That is so typical of Airline Pilot Central Forums. I enjoy reading about a career that I never pursued beyond a couple hundred hours in cessnas.
In another forum a poser clamed to be a "navy seal" or some other such ex-military war hero. The talk of tracking him down and extracting vengance went on for pages.
There was ____ him and ____ that and endless posts as to what should be done to him to save the reputation of the Marines and/or USN.
I thought it(the posing) was just sad and pathetic.

Naaa, AF enlisted dudes aren't interested in flying RC aircraft. Most head to the aero club and get the ratings necessary for life after the military!
