Default Employment Rights of Military Pilots

Wondering if all have noticed the settlement of a class action lawsuit against A/A's pilots USERRA rights. There is a lot of abuse on the maintenance side with the USERRA rights abuse to the military mechanics.

Unitedmechanics,
PM me when you get enough time and posts (20 I think plus a few weeks.)
There are very effective means to help educate UAL from the abuse. Frankly, much of it is ignorance of USERRA. AMR didn't think they were wrong in applying USERRA. Every method of resolution failed until they were facing a real Federal Court judge and knew at this point they were going to lose even more if they did not settle (at least double). In many ways they got off cheap. The case was precedent setting because it was the first class action suit, thus reinforces USERRA has teeth for those not even filing complaints. Every other case was a individual case that cold only be referenced by others as an example. Good, but class action better in this case. Glad VETS/DOJ pursued that way. Benefits all of us. In any case, the Employer Support of the Guard (ESGR) www.esgr.com and Reserve is a tremendous resource. It is most effective when combined with a union military rep to bring the issues to the forefront on behalf of all military employees. You sound like a motivated person that can start that process. I'll give you assistance based on my own experience. It really is a win-win proposition for everyone.
