Voluntary separation pay stories
I'm curious how my fellow VSP'ers are doing out there? What became of the Separation Pay? Did you invest it? Did you go straight to an airline? Which one? Did you go to a Guard/Reserve unit? Good luck to all!

I got a Gov't non-flying job and love the hours and freedom. Miss the flying for now, but I'm trying to get on with a Reserve or ANG unit in town. How about you since you started the thread? Best to all and good luck out there, you are a valuable commodity outside the cockpit too (probably more so), should you go that direction.

I'll be sending a resume to a small company in Moyock, NC. Not sure if anything will come of it, but if the pay is good and I can keep doing what I'm doing now for them, I'll consider it. It would be non-flying.

Got a job with a major and so far things are good. Our plan was to hold on to the VSP for a while, not make any rash decisions - invest most of it and take a splurge vacation with a little. But now it looks like it will go to a down payment on a house. We thought we would have to wait for Captain pay to get a place on a lake, but VSP is making it possible earlier. I just hope everything continue to goes well...
