Navy, have you checked with your local security manager? I asked the same question about a year ago when I interviewed with CX. I was told in no uncertain terms that I would lose access to quite a few programs. If your aspirations are to continue to fly pointy-nosed airplanes in a part-time status, it might be worth asking the question while you are still formulating your post AD game plan. CX didn't invite me to round two, so I didn't bother chasing the question any further. Best of luck in your pursuits.

Guys-
Thanks for all the updates, I have seen the light. I think it might be in the "too hard" category. I am sure you all can relate to the "dream job" fantasy thoughts while you're on AD sitting on a boat in the middle of the gulf waiting for another night trap. All the while, you know you're coming home to work back up for another deployment in a few months. Not what I am looking for, but I also don't want to trade this for another job where I never see the fam.
If I try to go with CX, I will have to cut the military ties. That will be a really hard decision. And is the military retirement even worth it?
