Wash out rates are hit or miss. My class in 2000 started with 27 people and only 13 finished tweets.

Limelight there have been pilots in our community who have never been allowed to upgrade to AC. And there are more than shouldn't have been. If you haven't met one, consider yourself fortunate, but it happens.
As my first post I can say this is 100% true! I know this guy and at SOS a Seymour IP and I discussed this guy. He asked if I knew him cautiously when I said I did but didn't have anything nice to say he proceeded to tell me about his hijinks at the FTU. Summary: He was so bad and more importantly such a tool box that they (the FTU) have an award in this guy's name awarded as shame! As far as getting into the C-17, his father-in-law is/was a general.....The good news (if there is any) to this is that he is also in this category of not being an AC. He did upgrade for a short while before being de-certified never to be re-visited. Should have been FEB'd and washed our hands of him too.
